CHRISTIAN COUNSELING IN SCOTTSDALE & GILBERT, AZEMDR Therapy
When painful experiences go unprocessed, they can continue to influence how you think, feel, and relate to others. EMDR therapy helps your brain heal from those experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming or stuck, creating space for lasting change and greater freedom in your daily life.
EMDR Intensives are also available for clients seeking a more focused and accelerated format.
We are not an in-network provider and do not accept insurance at this time.
Cash, HSA/FSA accounts, and all major credit cards are accepted methods of payment.
Christian Counseling & Mental Health SupportWhat is EMDR Therapy?
A deeper healing modality for people who still feel stuck.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences.
Instead of just talking about the past, EMDR helps your brain process it—so memories feel less intense, and you can move forward without feeling triggered or weighed down.
What counts as Trauma?
Trauma isn’t just one thing. “Big T” trauma might include:
Accidents, abuse, or witnessing something life-threatening
Military combat or first responder experiences
“Little t” trauma can be just as impactful:
Being bullied or excluded

Relationship wounds or betrayal
Losing a job or major life transition
Regret, shame, or painful past decisions

Identity shifts (like retirement or life transitions)

Anxiety or panic
Depression
