Christian TEEN CounselingWhat is Teen Therapy?
The teenage years can bring a wide range of emotions, challenges, and changes - sometimes all at once. Teen therapy provides a safe, supportive environment where adolescents can talk openly about what they’re experiencing, without fear of judgment or pressure.
In therapy, teens are given space to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and reactions while developing healthy coping skills and greater confidence in themselves. Whether they’re navigating stress, relationships, identity, or mental health challenges, therapy helps them feel more grounded, supported, and capable of handling what life brings.
Support during these years can make a lasting difference in how teens grow, cope, and move forward.

School-related stress or pressure

SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR JOURNEY
Who is teen therapy for?
Teen therapy is for adolescents who may be feeling overwhelmed, withdrawn, anxious, or simply not like themselves and for parents who want to better understand how to support them.
We work with teens navigating emotional challenges, relationship dynamics, school stress, and life transitions, helping them build confidence, resilience, and healthier ways of coping.
We also partner with parents to strengthen communication, create healthy boundaries, and foster a more supportive home environment so teens feel understood both in and outside of sessions.
OUR PROCESSHow Teen Therapy Works
Starting therapy shouldn’t feel complicated. Our process is designed to be clear, supportive, and tailored to your needs so you can focus on what matters most: your healing.
Schedule an Appointment:
Reach out to begin the teen therapy intake process. We’ll answer any questions, discuss what your family may be needing support with, and help you get started.
Sessions are offered in person or virtually throughout Arizona. Payment is collected at the time of booking to reserve your appointment, and a 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all scheduled sessions.
Complete Your Intake Forms:
You’ll receive secure paperwork through our client portal.
Please complete all forms and assessments at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session so we can better understand your teen’s background, current concerns, and goals for therapy.
Parent & Teen Intake Session:
Teen therapy begins with a parent intake session, giving us space to better understand your concerns, your teen’s history, family dynamics, and the challenges your family may currently be navigating.
Following the parent session, your teen will have their own individual intake session where they can begin building trust with their therapist in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.
Explore & Grow:
We’ll work together to identify patterns, past experiences, and underlying factors that may be impacting your present.
Through this process, you’ll gain deeper insight and begin making meaningful, lasting progress.
